Watch: Power tussle between Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar
When Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar addressed a press conference in Bengaluru on February 26, he was a picture of confidence despite the rising clamour from some senior Congress leaders close to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah demanding his removal as president of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC).
Amid speculation around leadership change and rift among the top leaders, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar sought to demonstrate their unity by joining hands and raising them in the presence of media at Mysuru airport on Monday (June 30, 2025).
