YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy condemned the alleged attack on two party activists in Krishna district.
Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy spoke over phone with Giridhar, an RMP, and Satish, who were allegedly assaulted by political rivals at Tallapalle village. Both were undergoing treatment in hospital. The YSRCP chief enquired about their condition, gathered details of the incident, and assured them of the party’s full support.
He urged the injured activists not to lose courage and directed the party leaders to ensure the best possible medical care. “YSRCP leaders and workers are being targeted through attacks, intimidation, and false cases,” he said, accusing the coalition government of misusing power and the police to silence the opponents.
Calling the assault an attempt to instil fear, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed confidence that people were watching the “unlawful acts” and would deliver a fitting reply to the ruling coalition. “Once YSRCP returns to power, those responsible for such incidents will be held accountable,” he warned.
