Following recent communal incidents, the Karnataka government has reshuffled senior IPS officers of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.
Senior IPS officer Sudheer Kumar Reddy has been posted as Deputy Inspector-General and Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru city. Incumbent Anupam Agrawal has been transferred from Mangaluru city and posted as Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Economic Offences, Criminal Investigation Department.
Arun K., Superintendent of Police, Udupi, has been transferred and posted as SP of Dakshina Kannada. Incumbent Yatish N. has been transferred. Hariram Shankar, SP, Intelligence, has been transferred and posted as SP, Udupi.
In another development, Borase Bhushan Gulabrao, Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Cyber Crime and Narcotics, Criminal Investigation Department, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector-General of Police & Commissioner of Police, Belagavi city.
