A traffic constable died in a road accident on Thursday (June 19, 2025) evening, after his motorcycle collided with a parked lorry on the service road near Exit 10 at Pasumamula village. The Hayathnagar police booked a case.

The deceased police constable, Mansingh (PC-4581) of 2020 batch, was attached to the Yadadri Traffic Police Station. He was returning home to Thorrur village after completing his duty, when the accident occurred at around 7.30 p.m.

According to an officer from the Hayathnagar police, Mansingh was travelling on his motorcycle (TS-05-FH-5900) from Hayathnagar towards Yadagirigutta via Ghatkesar. A lorry which had broken down due to an air lock was left parked by the roadside without any warning signs or safety measures in place. “Mansingh, riding directly behind it, could not anticipate the obstruction and crashed into the vehicle. He suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot,” said the officer.

The body was later shifted to Osmania General Hospital for a post-mortem. Hayathnagar police have registered a case and an investigation is underway.
