Society for Employment Generation and Enterprise Development in AP, Chairman G. Deepak Reddy on Wednesday assured TDP legislator Bonela Vijaya Chandra that SEEDAP will hold skill oriented training programmes and job fairs to benefit youth from rural and tribal areas of Parvatipuram-Manyam district.
Mr. Vijaya Chandra met Mr. Deepak in Amaravati, and submitted a representation, requesting him to hold skill oriented training programmes in a big way in Parvatipuram so that youth would get employment in several industries and companies promptly.
He said: “Many youth can become entrepreneurs and establish small scale industries in Parvatipuram and other parts of the district as both the government and banks are ready to extend financial assistance to prospective entrepreneurs.”
He added that the SEEDAP team would collect data of unemployed youth and dropout students from higher education institutions, and will take necessary steps to implement training programmes for them..
Mr. Vijaya Chandra also met with APSRTC Managing Director Dwaraka Tirumala Rao and requested the operation of additional buses to Kurupam, Gummalakshmipuram, Makkuva, Saluru and other remote areas to enable hassle-free travel to Parvatipuram.
