KPA to hand over houses to 3 police officers affected by Wayanad landslides

Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau Manoj Abraham will hand over the keys of three houses constructed by the Kerala Police Association (KPA) at Palakkamoola near Meenangadi to three police officers affected by the Chooralmala landslides in Wayanad district, on Monday (July 14).

The charity housing project was completed with the support of the Kerala Police Housing Cooperative Society. KPA functionaries said the selected beneficiaries are officers from the Kalpetta and Meenangadi police stations. They added that the initiative was funded solely through contributions from police personnel.

Additional Director General of Police S. Sreejith will preside over the function. Inspector General of Police (North Zone) Rajpal Meena, Deputy Inspector General of Police G.H. Yathish Chandra, District Police Chief (Wayanad) Taposh Basumatary, KPA State President A. Sudheer Khan and General Secretary E.V. Pradeepan will address the gathering.
