The elevated corridor from Uppal to Mediaplly began eight years ago.

The eight kilometre long elevated corridor between Uppal crossroads and Narapally would be completed and made available to people by coming Dasara, said Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Wednesday (July 16, 2025). The road project began eight years ago.
People living in and around the locality, those who pass by the road have been eagerly waiting for it to be completed. The route is also used by people traveling to and from Yadadri Bhuvanagiri and Warangal.
Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy along with others visited the Uppal-Medipally flyover on Wednesday (July 16, 2025).

Mr. Reddy along with Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy, government whip Beerla Ilaiah inspected the works on Wednesday. Financial constraints and other reasons led to the delays. He said that the contractor was changed after convincing the Centre and the works were handed over to someone else.
