Anantapur MLA vows to develop Old Town Market

by AutoTrendly

Anantapur Rural MLA Daggubati Venkateswara Prasad said the 45-year-old Old Town Market in the city will be developed on Private Public Partnership (PPP) model. The MLA alleged that the previous government had promised to develop the market but failed to do so.

Mr. Venkateswara Prasad, along with party election observer Somisetty Venkateswarlu, participated in the ‘Suparipalanalo Tholi Adugu’ programme in 12th division of the city. The MLA, who toured the 12th division and interacted with the residents at their doorstep, said they were getting arousing welcome from the people. “The people say it is for the first time that an elected representative has come to their doorstep,” he said.

Mr. Venkateswara Prasad said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is fulfilling all the electoral promises, and in just one year, the State received investments worth ₹9.50 lakh crore, which would generate 8.50 lakh jobs.

Accusing former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of derailing the State’s development through his three-capital proposal, he said Mr. Naidu is developing Amaravati. “We are constructing CC roads and drains on a large scale, and we will also clear garbage from the landfill by October 2,” he said.

Mr. Somisetty Venkateswarlu said the MLA had been striving for the development of the people of his constituency.
