The Jalahalli police on Tuesday arrested two persons for peddling drugs in the city and recovered 41.3 kg of ganja worth ₹41 lakh from them.
The accused, identified as Vinay, 20, and Vinayaka, 20, from Tumakuru, were allegedly held red-handed while selling the drugs to their customers near Goraguntepalya bridge. The duo have been booked under the NDPS Act.
The duo allegedly confessed to having sourced the drugs from their contact in Odisha and brought them by train to sell. Investogations are on to track down the source.
